Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Mrs Eveleigh Nash At Buckingham Palace Mall, London, 1953 by Inge Morath for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,592.29). This price was achieved in the auction Made In Britain at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Inge Morath have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2010 by the work Mrs Eveleigh Nash with her chauffeur, at Buckingham Palace Mall, 1953 at GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,125.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mrs Eveleigh Nash At Buckingham Palace Mall, London, 1953 von Inge Morath für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.592,29) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Made In Britain bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Inge Morath wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2010 die Arbeit Mrs Eveleigh Nash with her chauffeur, at Buckingham Palace Mall, 1953 mit GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.125,92).
