Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Conditional Reflex by Ilya Kabakov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2020. The price achieved of GBP 438,500.00 (€ 486,916.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 350,000.00 – 500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ilya Kabakov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Beetle in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,932,500.00 (€ 3,835,594.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Conditional Reflex von Ilya Kabakov kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 438.500,00 (€ 486.916,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 350.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ilya Kabakov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Beetle im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.932.500,00 (€ 3.835.594,92).
