Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bazaar I And Ii (Diptych) by Ilya Kabakov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2020. The price achieved of GBP 13,860.00 (€ 15,390.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ilya Kabakov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beetle in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,932,500.00 (€ 3,835,594.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bazaar I And Ii (Diptych) von Ilya Kabakov kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.860,00 (€ 15.390,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ilya Kabakov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beetle im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.932.500,00 (€ 3.835.594,92).
