Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Grisebach held the auction Herbstauktionen 2020 - Photographie, which included the work „Laban Schule, Frankfurt“. by Ilse Bing. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ilse Bing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self Portrait with Leica, Paris in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 38,586.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Grisebach die Auktion Herbstauktionen 2020 - Photographie durch, in der auch die Arbeit „Laban Schule, Frankfurt“. von Ilse Bing zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ilse Bing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self Portrait with Leica, Paris im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 38.586,20).
