Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work State Breeding Facility by Ilona Granet for USD 60.00 (€ 47.01). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ilona Granet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Curb Your Animal Instinct in July 2006 with an auction result of USD 1,200.00 (€ 940.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit State Breeding Facility von Ilona Granet für USD 60,00 (€ 47,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ilona Granet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Curb Your Animal Instinct im Juli 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.200,00 (€ 940,14).
