Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work No Cat Calls by Ilona Granet for USD 300.00 (€ 235.04). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ilona Granet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Curb Your Animal Instinct, which sold at auction in July 2006 for USD 1,200.00 (€ 940.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit No Cat Calls von Ilona Granet für USD 300,00 (€ 235,04) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ilona Granet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Curb Your Animal Instinct beobachtet, die im Juli 2006 für USD 1.200,00 (€ 940,14) versteigert wurde.
