A top price for Ilona Granet - as previously expected
In July 2006 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work Curb Your Animal Instinct by Ilona Granet. The auction ended at the price of USD 1,200.00 (€ 940.14), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Curb Your Animal Instinct is the most expensive artwork by Ilona Granet that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juli 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The House Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Curb Your Animal Instinct von Ilona Granet zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 1.200,00 (€ 940,14) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Curb Your Animal Instinct das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ilona Granet, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
