Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2017 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work YOGA – AXIS by Ikki Miyake. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 525,000.00 (€ 59,947.94). Admittedly, works by Ikki Miyake have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yoga - The Embodiment Of Tree in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,280,000.00 (€ 311,254.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2017 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit YOGA – AXIS von Ikki Miyake zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 525.000,00 (€ 59.947,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ikki Miyake auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yoga - The Embodiment Of Tree im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.280.000,00 (€ 311.254,97).
