In December 2020 Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction, which included the work No. 19 Suashi Kotoba ''Perfume'', for Chanel by Ikki Miyake. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 94,500.00 (€ 9,967.70), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ikki Miyake achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yoga - The Embodiment Of Tree in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,280,000.00 (€ 311,254.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit No. 19 Suashi Kotoba ''Perfume'', for Chanel von Ikki Miyake zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 94.500,00 (€ 9.967,70) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ikki Miyake erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yoga - The Embodiment Of Tree im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.280.000,00 (€ 311.254,97).
