Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Seated Girl by Ikki Miyake was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2015. The auction ended at the price of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 29,334.18), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ikki Miyake achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yoga - The Embodiment Of Tree in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,280,000.00 (€ 311,254.97).

Die Arbeit Seated Girl von Ikki Miyake wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 29.334,18) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ikki Miyake erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yoga - The Embodiment Of Tree im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.280.000,00 (€ 311.254,97).
