This artwork by Ikki Miyake achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. In the Asian Contemporary Art auction, the work Suashi-Kotoba XIII (fascination of legs) sold for HKD 168,000.00 (€ 16,874.62) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 75,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ikki Miyake achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yoga - The Embodiment Of Tree in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,280,000.00 (€ 311,254.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ikki Miyake erzielte im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Suashi-Kotoba XIII (fascination of legs) für HKD 168.000,00 (€ 16.874,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 75.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ikki Miyake erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yoga - The Embodiment Of Tree im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.280.000,00 (€ 311.254,97).
