Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Igor Chelkovski was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2013. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,003.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Igor Chelkovski have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2008 the work Russian Untitled, 1987 was auctioned for USD 18,750.00 (€ 12,043.94).
