Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Mujer sentada by Ignacio Aguirre for USD 2,640.00 (€ 2,023.14). This price was achieved in the auction THE HOUSE SALE at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Ignacio Aguirre have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Autorretrato in June 2004 with an auction result of EUR 19,120.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mujer sentada von Ignacio Aguirre für USD 2.640,00 (€ 2.023,14) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion THE HOUSE SALE bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ignacio Aguirre auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Autorretrato im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.120,00.
