Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work "I walk in the night with sleepy eyes closed" by Ibrahim el-Salahi for SEK 80,000.00 (€ 6,893.19). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art + Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 100,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ibrahim el-Salahi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Tree in October last year with an auction result of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 80,733.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "I walk in the night with sleepy eyes closed" von Ibrahim el-Salahi für SEK 80.000,00 (€ 6.893,19) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ibrahim el-Salahi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Tree im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 80.733,73).
