The work Still Life II by Ibrahim El Dessouki was auctioned at Bonhams in London in May this year. It achieved a price of GBP 11,520.00 (€ 13,403.60), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ibrahim El Dessouki - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Egyptian Violet, which sold at auction in October 2019 for GBP 25,062.00 (€ 29,070.12).

Die Arbeit Still Life II von Ibrahim El Dessouki kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 11.520,00 (€ 13.403,60) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ibrahim El Dessouki mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Egyptian Violet beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für GBP 25.062,00 (€ 29.070,12) versteigert wurde.
