This artwork by Iberê Camargo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November 2012. In the Latin American Sale auction, the work Jogo de carretéis I sold for USD 422,500.00 (€ 324,750.19) - well above the upper estimate of USD 180,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Iberê Camargo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Sem Título sold at auction in May 2016 with the realized price of USD 394,000.00 (€ 353,839.25).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Iberê Camargo erzielte im November 2012 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin American Sale wurde die Arbeit Jogo de carretéis I für USD 422.500,00 (€ 324.750,19) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 180.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Iberê Camargo; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Sem Título im Mai 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 394.000,00 (€ 353.839,25).
