Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hussein Madi could be acquired at Bonhams in September this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online auction, the work Sunset Dreams changed hands for GBP 832.00 (€ 832.00) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hussein Madi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Rapture) in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 70,480.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hussein Madi konnte im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Sunset Dreams für GBP 832,00 (€ 832,00) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hussein Madi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Rapture) im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 70.480,72).
