The work Rouge by Hussein Madi was sold in the Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction at Bonhams in London in February last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,621.71), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Hussein Madi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Rapture) in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 70,480.72).

Die Arbeit Rouge von Hussein Madi wurde im Februar letzten Jahres in der Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.375,00 (€ 7.621,71) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hussein Madi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Rapture) im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 70.480,72).
