Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Allah by Hussein Madi was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 8,925.00 (€ 10,478.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hussein Madi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Rapture) in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 70,480.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Allah von Hussein Madi kam im November 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.925,00 (€ 10.478,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hussein Madi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Rapture) im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 70.480,72).
