This artwork by Hunt Slonem achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October 2006. In the The House Sale auction, the work The Peaceable Kingdom sold for USD 8,400.00 (€ 6,576.37) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hunt Slonem have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Picul 131 in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 37,800.00 (€ 32,721.61).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hunt Slonem erzielte im Oktober 2006 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The House Sale wurde die Arbeit The Peaceable Kingdom für USD 8.400,00 (€ 6.576,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hunt Slonem auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Picul 131 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.800,00 (€ 32.721,61).
