The work 60 by Hunt Slonem was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2018. It achieved a price of EUR 7,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50 %. Admittedly, works by Hunt Slonem have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Picul 131 in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 37,800.00 (€ 32,721.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit 60 von Hunt Slonem kam im November 2018 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hunt Slonem auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Picul 131 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.800,00 (€ 32.721,61).
