A top price for Hung Jui-Lin - as previously expected
In April 2015 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Illumination Underground by Hung Jui-Lin. The price achieved of HKD 283,200.00 (€ 32,729.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Illumination Underground is the most expensive artwork by Hung Jui-Lin that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April 2015 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Illumination Underground von Hung Jui-Lin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 283.200,00 (€ 32.729,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Illumination Underground das teuerste Kunstwerk von Hung Jui-Lin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
