The work Tulips by Hung Jui-Lin was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 192,000.00 (€ 18,619.41), 60% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hung Jui-Lin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Illumination Underground sold at auction in April 2015 with the realized price of HKD 283,200.00 (€ 32,729.62).

Die Arbeit Tulips von Hung Jui-Lin wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 192.000,00 (€ 18.619,41) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hung Jui-Lin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Illumination Underground im April 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 283.200,00 (€ 32.729,62).
