Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2003 Christies in New York held the auction PLAYBOY AT 50, which included the work Dining Room (from the Playboy Town House) by Humen Tan. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,673.00 (€ 1,328.09). Admittedly, works by Humen Tan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Living Room (from Playboy Town House) in December 2003 with an auction result of USD 10,755.00 (€ 8,537.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion PLAYBOY AT 50 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dining Room (from the Playboy Town House) von Humen Tan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.673,00 (€ 1.328,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Humen Tan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Living Room (from Playboy Town House) im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.755,00 (€ 8.537,75).
