Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2003 Christies in New York held the auction PLAYBOY AT 50, which included the work Street View of the Facade (from the Playboy Town House) by Humen Tan. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,868.00 (€ 2,276.73) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Humen Tan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Living Room (from Playboy Town House), which sold at auction in December 2003 for USD 10,755.00 (€ 8,537.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion PLAYBOY AT 50 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Street View of the Facade (from the Playboy Town House) von Humen Tan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.868,00 (€ 2.276,73) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Humen Tan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Living Room (from Playboy Town House) beobachtet, die im Dezember 2003 für USD 10.755,00 (€ 8.537,75) versteigert wurde.
