Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hungarian La Foule by Hugó Scheiber was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2014. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,286.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hugó Scheiber achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Ball in April 2006 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 69,277.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hungarian La Foule von Hugó Scheiber kam im November 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.286,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hugó Scheiber erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Ball im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 69.277,57).
