Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hugo Gehlin could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Autumn Sale, Stockholm auction, the work Motif from Helsingborg, Sweden changed hands for SEK 10,000.00 (€ 1,154.92) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hugo Gehlin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Michelino", which sold at auction in April 2017 for SEK 30,000.00 (€ 3,106.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hugo Gehlin konnte im Oktober 2013 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Autumn Sale, Stockholm wechselte die Arbeit Motif from Helsingborg, Sweden für SEK 10.000,00 (€ 1.154,92) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hugo Gehlin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Michelino" beobachtet, die im April 2017 für SEK 30.000,00 (€ 3.106,01) versteigert wurde.
