Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Diver by Hughie O'Donoghue was sold in the British & Irish Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2012. It achieved a price of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 21,558.22), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Hughie O'Donoghue have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Owl Run in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 110,085.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Diver von Hughie O'Donoghue wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion British & Irish Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 21.558,22) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hughie O'Donoghue auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Owl Run im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 110.085,42).
