Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cherbourg (Study) No. Ii by Hughie O'Donoghue was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2017. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,599.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hughie O'Donoghue have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Owl Run in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 110,085.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cherbourg (Study) No. Ii von Hughie O'Donoghue kam im September 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.599,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hughie O'Donoghue auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Owl Run im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 110.085,42).
