In the American Art Online auction, the work Woman with Green Umbrella sold for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,478.45) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hughie Lee-Smith have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Indecision II in December 2021 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 104,921.36).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hughie Lee-Smith auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Indecision II im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 104.921,36).
