The auction ended at the price of USD 50,000.00 (€ 47,267.91), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hughie Lee-Smith - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Indecision II, which sold at auction in December 2021 for USD 118,750.00 (€ 104,921.36).
