Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,116.25 (€ 1,630.38) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hugh Boycott Brown - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Suffolk Windmill; Morning At Pin Mill, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,698.37).
