Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hubert Scheibl achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2020. In the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Hox R sold for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,385.03) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hubert Scheibl; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot "Wir wissen nicht wer den Krieg begonnen hat, wir oder sie (Matrix)". sold at auction in June this year with the realized price of EUR 26,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hubert Scheibl erzielte im Februar 2020 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Hox R für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.385,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hubert Scheibl; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit "Wir wissen nicht wer den Krieg begonnen hat, wir oder sie (Matrix)". im Juni diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 26.400,00.
