Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Hubert Scheibl was sold in the Art Contemporain Vente du Jour auction at Sothebys in Paris in June 2017. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,625.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hubert Scheibl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Wir wissen nicht wer den Krieg begonnen hat, wir oder sie (Matrix)". in June this year with an auction result of EUR 26,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hubert Scheibl wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Art Contemporain Vente du Jour bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.625,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hubert Scheibl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Wir wissen nicht wer den Krieg begonnen hat, wir oder sie (Matrix)". im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.400,00.
