Admittedly, works by Hubert Bellis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bouquet des fleurs in October 2000 with an auction result of NLG 12,872.20 (€ 6,178.23).

Die Arbeit Still Life With Clams. von Hubert Bellis kam im Dezember 2011 bei Bukowski in Helsinki zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.300,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hubert Bellis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bouquet des fleurs im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 12.872,20 (€ 6.178,23).
