Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chrysanthemums in a glass vase by Hubert Bellis was sold in the Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries auction at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2011. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hubert Bellis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bouquet des fleurs, which sold at auction in October 2000 for NLG 12,872.20 (€ 6,178.23).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
