The work A Still Life With Lemons, Strawberries And Flowers by Hubert Bellis was sold in the Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in March 2007. It achieved a price of EUR 4,800.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60 %. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hubert Bellis; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Bouquet des fleurs sold at auction in October 2000 with the realized price of NLG 12,872.20 (€ 6,178.23).

Die Arbeit A Still Life With Lemons, Strawberries And Flowers von Hubert Bellis wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.800,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60 %. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hubert Bellis; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Bouquet des fleurs im Oktober 2000 mit dem Hammerpreis von NLG 12.872,20 (€ 6.178,23).
