It achieved a price of EUR 4,800.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60 %. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hubert Bellis; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Bouquet des fleurs sold at auction in October 2000 with the realized price of NLG 12,872.20 (€ 6,178.23).
