Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Waterfall In Mountains by Huang Zhongfang was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,504.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 32,000.00 – 45,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Zhongfang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 13,048.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Waterfall In Mountains von Huang Zhongfang wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.504,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 32.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Zhongfang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 13.048,04) versteigert wurde.
