Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Mountain With Peaks Like Swords by Huang Xiangjian for USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,926.49). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Cal at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Xiangjian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape Of Kunming in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 882,000.00 (€ 97,688.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mountain With Peaks Like Swords von Huang Xiangjian für USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.926,49) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Cal bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Xiangjian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape Of Kunming im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 882.000,00 (€ 97.688,68).
