It achieved a price of HKD 119,500.00 (€ 17,018.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 71%. Admittedly, works by Huang Xiangjian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape Of Kunming in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 882,000.00 (€ 97,688.68).

Die Arbeit A Thousand Cliffs And Myriad Peaks von Huang Xiangjian wurde im April 2002 in der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 119.500,00 (€ 17.018,33) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 71%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Xiangjian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape Of Kunming im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 882.000,00 (€ 97.688,68).
