Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vessels Rubbings by Huang Shiling was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. It changed hands for a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 22,131.71) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Shiling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Zhuanshu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,720,000.00 (€ 314,352.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vessels Rubbings von Huang Shiling kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 22.131,71) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Shiling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Zhuanshu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.720.000,00 (€ 314.352,27).
