Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Orchid by Huang Shiling was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,037.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Shiling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Zhuanshu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,720,000.00 (€ 314,352.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Orchid von Huang Shiling wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.037,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Shiling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Zhuanshu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.720.000,00 (€ 314.352,27).
