In October 2021 China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Couplet In Seal Script by Huang Shiling. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 42,000.00 (€ 4,671.92), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Shiling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Zhuanshu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,720,000.00 (€ 314,352.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Couplet In Seal Script von Huang Shiling zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 42.000,00 (€ 4.671,92) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Shiling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Zhuanshu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.720.000,00 (€ 314.352,27).
