This artwork by Huang Shiling achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2016. In the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Calligraphy sold for HKD 165,200.00 (€ 18,612.25) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Shiling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Zhuanshu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,720,000.00 (€ 314,352.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Huang Shiling erzielte im April 2016 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy für HKD 165.200,00 (€ 18.612,25) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Shiling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Zhuanshu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.720.000,00 (€ 314.352,27).
