This artwork by Huang Shaoqiang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Street Corner sold for HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,705.12) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Shaoqiang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Immortality And Oblivion in April 2012 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 38,974.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Huang Shaoqiang erzielte im November 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Street Corner für HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.705,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Shaoqiang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Immortality And Oblivion im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 38.974,98).
