Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hunger by Huang Shaoqiang was sold in the Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 49,560.00 (€ 5,623.39), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 24%. Admittedly, works by Huang Shaoqiang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Immortality And Oblivion in April 2012 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 38,974.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Hunger von Huang Shaoqiang wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 49.560,00 (€ 5.623,39) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 24%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Shaoqiang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Immortality And Oblivion im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 38.974,98).
