Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Peasant by Huang Shaoqiang was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in New York in July 2020. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,184.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Shaoqiang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Immortality And Oblivion in April 2012 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 38,974.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Peasant von Huang Shaoqiang wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.184,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Shaoqiang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Immortality And Oblivion im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 38.974,98).
