Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2011 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Martyr by Huang Shaoqiang. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,503.41), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Huang Shaoqiang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Immortality And Oblivion in April 2012 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 38,974.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Martyr von Huang Shaoqiang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 7.503,41) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Shaoqiang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Immortality And Oblivion im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 38.974,98).
