Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Young Lady In Front Of Blackboard by Huang Rui for HKD 354,000.00 (€ 36,445.33). This price was achieved in the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art at POLY in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Rui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work New Woman, which sold at auction in May 2011 for HKD 1,340,000.00 (€ 119,869.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Young Lady In Front Of Blackboard von Huang Rui für HKD 354.000,00 (€ 36.445,33) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Rui mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit New Woman beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für HKD 1.340.000,00 (€ 119.869,23) versteigert wurde.
