The work Peony and Birds by Huang Leisheng was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 27,500.00 (€ 2,960.79), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Leisheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Overnight Rain In The Mountains in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 377,600.00 (€ 41,559.34).

Die Arbeit Peony and Birds von Huang Leisheng kam im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 27.500,00 (€ 2.960,79) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Leisheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Overnight Rain In The Mountains im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 377.600,00 (€ 41.559,34).
